U.S. Kids Golf Australia is proud to offer junior golfers the opportunity to play competitive golf in a fun, supportive environment. Our Nine Hole Promo Events are a great way to either introduce kids to tournament golf or to continue to develop their confidence and knowledge of the game . They are run in a fun, age and gender specific, reduced yardage format. The emphasis is on FUN so that kids want to continue to play.

Parade of Nations to Kick Off US Kids Golf World Championship in Pinehurst

The U.S. Kids Golf World Championship will kick off at 6 p.m. Tuesday with a Parade of Nations through Pinehurst.

More than 2,200 young golfers from every state and over 50 countries will march in the parade. They will assemble along Carolina Vista before making their grand arrival at the intersection of the Village Green.

From there, the players will travel to Tufts Park while carrying flags from their respective home countries. Reigning Miss North Carolina Victoria Huggins will serve as the parade’s grand marshall.

Reduced yardage golf for kids is a game changer!

It is not too difficult to understand why Golf in Australia is a sport that has struggled to capture the hearts and interest of more kids.

Put very simply, Golf is too hard for kids to play!

The game itself prevents kids from being successful. It is impossible for an average 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 even 11 or 12 -year-old boy or girl to get a ball to the green within the regulation number of shots. They may have the hand eye coordination and the technical skill however they lack the physical strength and power required to play the game properly.
