Making the step from clinics and coaching into your first tournament can be a little daunting for all beginner golfers regardless of their age.
U.S Kids Golf have introduced My First Tournament which is a fun format to help kids make the transition easily.
Played over six holes, with reduced yardages dependent on age this, it is a great way to introduce your kids to tournament golf.

Event Conditions
Entries
Entries Close on Wednesday prior to the event before at 5.00pm. There are no late entries.
Tee times will be sent out on Thursday before the event by 5.00pm
Note: Age as of day of Tournament. Players under the age of 5 are not eligible.
Weather
The event goes on rain, hail or shine. Only lightning or an “Act of God” will postpone or cancel the event.
Entry Fee
Entry Fee is not refundable if the player withdraws after 5pm on the 2nd October 2017.
Event
The event is considered a ‘’played event’’ if 3 of 6 holes are played
by the last playing group.
Entry fees are not refunded if the event is considered a “played event”.
Prize Giving
Prize giving will be held immediately after the last playing group is finished.
Indemnity
All Players, Caddies and Associates play or attend this event at their own risk.
Golf Carts
Can be hired for the Tournament by organising directly with Avalon Golf Course on 9918 2606
Caddies
All players must have a Caddie over 18 years of age for this event.
